For a 100% regional lunch, head for the 7th floor of the Cité du Vin wine museum with a panoramic view over Bordeaux and the Port de la Lune. Your day will continue with a visit to the Cité du Vin museum and a tasting cruise on the Garonne River.

You will dine in a traditional restaurant right in the heart of Bordeaux and can freshen up in your charming guest house located a few streets away.

Route des châteaux, Margaux

Your stopover in the Médoc will begin with a visit to the Nadalié family cooperage business, in operation since 1902 in Ludon-Médoc, where you will learn about an ancestral craftsmanship that has been handed down for five generations.

Before having lunch in Margaux, you will be invited to visit a family wine estate in the heart of the Margaux appellation. All around will be renowned wine châteaux and vineyards: Château Margaux to the north, Château Palmer, Château Rauzan, Château of Issan and Château Marquis de Terme. It is impossible to go through the Margaux appellation without tasting a grand cru classé wine!

At the end of the day, you’ll travel to your charming guest house, set in the heart of the Margaux vineyards, for an exquisite dinner. Night in a double room.

Pessac-Léognan, La Brède and Cadillac

Now take the road to the Graves wine region, located southwest of Bordeaux. You will visit a wine estate in Pessac-Léognan, producing a Graves grand cru classé wine.

For lunch we have booked a table for you in a typical restaurant in the town of La Brède. Your afternoon will start with a visit to a wine estate producing a Graves cru classé wine: you’ll learn all there is to know about wine-making techniques, from the vineyard to the barrel cellars and vats. The visit will end with a tasting of the estate’s wines.

To end the day, you will be welcomed by the owners of a 100-hectare family wine estate, one of the most prestigious in the Graves appellation. The estate, registered with the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux since 1985, is renowned thanks to the wise counsel of Hubert de Boüard, wine expert and estate owner in Saint-Emilion.

For dinner you’ll go to Cadillac, a charming little town on the other side of the Garonne. Accommodation in a double room in a guest house in the midst of the vineyards.

Entre-deux-Mers

After your breakfast, the morning will be dedicated to visiting a family wine estate in the Bordeaux Supérieur AOC (protected designation of origin) and tasting of one of its wines.

Your trip will continue with a visit to a wine estate located in the Entre-deux-Mers appellation, where you will also take a break for lunch. In the afternoon, you will delight your senses of smell and taste as you discover the secret of wine-making, gardens of scents, etc. You will feel ready for the final tasting of white and red wines and identifying the different aromas.

Before dinner, you will be able to relax in your guest house and enjoy the spa and swimming pool. For dinner, we have booked a table for you in the village of Branne. You will spend a peaceful night in a double room in the heart of the vineyard.

Saint-Emilion

The day will start with a visit to a wine estate located in the Saint-Emilion or Pomerol appellation. At lunchtime, we offer you a farmhouse lunch in Montagne, near Saint-Emilion.

Accompanied by a guide, you will leave for a historical tour of the town of Saint-Emilion and its underground heritage. Saint-Emilion contains many architectural treasures: stone staircases, city walls, old monasteries, underground monolithic church, catacombs, etc. After walking through the town, a stop-off for shopping is a must, especially to taste real Saint-Emilion macaroons, an institution since 1620.

To end this lovely day, you will have the honour of pushing open the doors of a wine estate producing a Saint-Emilion premier grand cru classé wine since 1959, and discovering the vats, underground cellar and the new tasting area. Covering an area of 22 hectares, it is the oldest wine estate in Saint-Emilion according to mosaics in the Gallo-Roman villa, Le Palat.
